Sam Prather - Split Personalities (2006)

Link 2

Sam Prather spent four years as a member of the neo-soul outfit Yamama'Nym as a producer and keyboard player, so if you enjoyed the group's albums you'll like this one too! Very solid production and the instrumetals are some of the smoothest ever! Don't sleep on this here HEAT!

Flat Three - Sky Is The Limit (2008)

Link 2

There is a great mix of Japanese club jazz and dance music with some very nice vocals throughout this record. Turns out something that is 'Flat' isn't necessarily so bad after all.

Uni-Birth - Movement (2007)

Link 2

Uni-Birth fuses funk, R&B, and nu jazz into one helluva mix of audibly combustible HEAT! Hopefully you too will embrace their 'Movement' and get into something different once in a while! This debut album is a winner and hopefully their subsequent albums will follow suit!

Link 2

Looks like we're back in Japan once more with (yet again) more J-jazz HEAT! This time, however, it's with a twist of that Brazilian bossa-nova vibe! Meet Immigrant's Bossa Band, a Brazilian jazz band whose members are all Japanese! All you Yutaka Yokokura fans out there will LOVE this group! And to the members of the group, you can come to the United States any time of the day to SAVE us from the musical corporate machine that plagues our ears with utter craptacular noise!

diyTokion - This Is How We Feel About Modern Day Sounds (2007)

Link 2

Most of you may not have ever heard of this group. Well, considering the name of their debut album, it's pretty self-explanatory. After listening to this album, one will immediately notice that they apparently don't like modern day sounds because this album blows anything Beyonce or Jay-Z released into orbit!
